During a visit to the Fox School of Business on Monday, veteran Sen. Arlen Specter discussed his stance on China as a currency manipulator, the ballooning deficit and his efforts to bring stimulus funds to Pennsylvania. MBA students seemed most interested in Specter’s comments about how some recent stimulus funds went to small businesses with 15 or fewer employees that needed the funds to get their products to market. “The big takeaway for me was that there is money available for small businesses,” said Ajinkya Joglekar, 26. “Now it’s our job to figure out how to be on the cutting edge so we can receive those kinds of funds.”
