More than 500 of Philadelphia's brightest public, parochial, private and charter school students took part in the 31st annual George Washington Carver Science Fair at Temple. They displayed their projects on everything from plant life to snacking and diet. "At least two students each year receive full scholarships to Temple University," said Carver committee member Claudia Tucker-Keto. "Sometimes it's partial scholarships; sometimes it's something that can help them out to continue to foster their scientific exploration."
