Cindy Joy Marselis, assistant professor of management information systems at Temple's Fox School of Business and director of the Health Informatics program at Temple's College of Health Professions and Social Work (CHPSW), was interviewed on MyPhl17's "In Focus" on health informatics and Temple's program. "The government has really implemented a number of different initiatives to make the realization of a health information system that crosses every program a reality," Marselis said. "Less than 2 percent [of hospitals] have a fully operable electronic health system where the applications are available in every unit of the hospital." Marselis was joined by Margaret Foley, clinical associate professor at CHPSW.
