Qwedia Wallace takes leadership role — then Temple takes off
Qwedia Wallace admits she's not a big fan of change. Once she settles in, you better give her a really good reason to switch things up. So when the senior guard went to Temple women's basketball coach Tonya Cardoza and said things needed to be fixed — and she would be the one doing the fixing — it was a pleasant surprise. Wallace approached Cardoza after a listless early-season game and asked to take responsibility for motivating the team. "Since then, things have changed," Cardoza said.
