Temple to face Penn State in 29th NCAA Tournament appearance

Temple, seeded seventh in the West Region, will face 10th-seeded Penn State in the second round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament in Tucson, Ariz., on Thursday, March 17. "I came into the season saying that our main focus is getting a win in the tournament. I'm not really worried about what happened in the past 32 games [of this season]. My main focus is we got Penn State," said senior power forward Lavoy Allen. "It would be better if it were a little closer, but if you said after [Saturday's] game, 'You're in, and you're a seventh seed, and you're playing Penn State, but it's in Tucson, Arizona,' I would have signed the papers — because you know you're in," said Owls head coach Fran Dunphy.
