Legislators meet Temple student researchers
Jenna Fox, a Rockwood, Pa. native and senior biology major at Temple, recently presented her research at the fourth annual Temple Undergraduate Research Day in Harrisburg. Her project, "A Health Literacy Initiative for the Latino Patient Population of North Philadelphia," is an ongoing effort to provide education concerning nutrition, childhood obesity and diabetes to the Spanish-speaking population of North Philadelphia. Fox was one of twelve undergraduate students from across Pennsylvania selected this year to present a project to members of the General Assembly.
