Temple women's basketball star Shey Peddy had an inkling the Chicago Sky were going to select her in the second round of the WNBA draft, but she wasn't about to get her hopes up too high. When the Sky stepped up to the podium Monday with the 11th pick of the round, Peddy tried to keep her emotions in check. But once her name was called, the athletic office at Temple exploded. "We're all really happy for her," said Coach Tonya Cardoza. "I've watched how hard she's worked over the last couple of years and watched her grow, and I know how much she wanted this."
