Minute Suites offers airport refuge — and jobs for Temple students
To combat the inevitable fatigue of air travel, Philadelphia International Airport is now the second airport in the U.S. to host Minute Suites, a company that allows passengers to relax, conduct business and sleep in private suites between flights or during delays. At the front desk, guests will find a staff of student interns from Temple's School of Tourism and Hospitality Management, who are gaining real-world experience with the innovative company. "It's a big opportunity because it's a company that's starting off big, and there are going to be so many opportunities," said tourism and hospitality management major Sanja Panic.
