"Increasingly, people are getting their health care delivered close to where they live, not only in hospitals that are nearby but outpatient centers or even now pharmacies that have limited services available."

A celebrated group of women who were working at Penn on complex ballistics mathematics during World War II and are credited with impacting the outcome of the war are now the focus of a feature-length documentary from LeAnn Erickson, associate professor of film and media arts at Temple. In Top Secret Rosies, Erickson tells the story of the work these women did and how their research helped lead to the funding and development of the first general purpose electronic computer, which, by most accounts, set into place the great digital revolution of the past half century. "I have a long history of personal interest in women's history and World War II and in finding their lost stories," Erickson said. "That's what this is."
