If you're a regular gallery-goer in Philadelphia, Yevgeniy Fiks' installation at Tyler School of Art's Temple Gallery will quickly remind you that shows of conceptual art rarely get this kind of space anymore. Fiks' "Communist Conspiracy in Art Threatens American Museums" has the entire, almost brand-new Temple Gallery — which can easily accommodate three solo shows — to itself. This largesse turns out to have been the best approach to Fiks' work. Viewers can experience the cohesiveness and obsessiveness of his ideas. Fiks will be giving a lecture at Temple's Paley Library on Wednesday and a "Communist Tour of the Philadelphia Museum of Art" on Oct. 15.
