The White House hosted a Hispanic Community Action Summit at Temple to discuss issues important to the Hispanic community, including jobs, education, health care and immigration. At least 25 officials representing various arms of the federal government met with local community leaders through an open-space process that allowed the audience to set the day's agenda.
