While top Oilers' executives examine a move to Quebec City, another franchise north of the border could soon be involved in what would be the biggest transaction in Canadian sport history. Telecommunications giant Rogers is in talks to buy the Maple Leafs in a deal worth more than $1 billion. Aubrey Kent, director of the Sport Industry Research Center at Temple, said a Rogers deal would "be quite a monopoly all centralized in a top five market in North America."
