Philadelphia is hoping to start a conversation about suicide with a new mural and website. Jonathan Singer, a Temple professor who specializes in the societal impacts of suicide, advised the city's department of behavioral health on the project. "When you go to the website, you can read about people who survived, people who worked through," said Singer. "These are very painful, heartbreaking but hopeful stories,” he said noting that it’s place to find community.
