As they wake on November 6th, political-science students at Temple will receive reminders them that it is election day. Once out of bed, they will find student Democratic volunteers ready to give them directions to their polling station. The college Democrats’ president, Dylan Morpurgo, has honed a special pitch. He points out that politicians decide such things as tuition fees and student-loan interest rates. The nannying at Temple is bipartisan. Erik Jacobs, leader of Temple Republicans, will be e-mailing his own members with details of where to vote also.
