Alexander Yates, assistant professor in the Department of Computer and Information Sciences, has been awarded "The Steven Petchon Distinguished Excellence in Teaching Award" by the College of Science and Technology. Yates was nominated by his peers and students for demonstrating tremendous dedication to his work, students and to the college.
