Domenico Praticò, professor of pharmacology and microbiology and immunology in Temple School of Medicine, has been selected a senior editor for the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease.
Praticò’s selection is based on his contribution to the field of neurodegeneration and Alzheimer’s disease and his service to the journal as an associate editor for the past three years. His new role will be to solicit and handle review articles and remain actively engaged in shaping and directing the journal’s future.
Launched in 2001, the journal is an international multidisciplinary publication with the mission to facilitate progress in understanding the etiology, pathogenesis, epidemiology, genetics, behavior, treatment and psychology of Alzheimer's disease.
