Young entrepreneurs create their own opportunities

Research groups have noted an uptick in entrepreneurial activity among the young. Even if the vast majority of students never start their own businesses, entrepreneurship skills will make them more valuable to employers, said Jaine Lucas, executive director of Temple's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute. "They have leadership skills, the ability to team-build, the ability to incent people to be their best, the ability to survive at all costs," she said.
