Association for Computing Machinery (ACM-W)

Passionate about all things tech? Join a dynamic community of women in technology, providing a supportive environment for networking and camaraderie. From Female Hackathons to workshops boosting job fair confidence, ACM-W empowers women in tech through comprehensive personal and professional development initiatives.

 

Women in Business

For the future (and current!) girlbosses, Women in Business serves to support women across all business majors, encouraging professional growth and confidence in the business world.

Dedicated to supporting future female healthcare professionals, Women in Medicine offers networking, mentorship and community service opportunities, driving increased representation in the medical field.

For all the music lovers, SingChronize is Temple’s first and only women-centered acapella group. Empowering the voices of underrepresented identities through performances and social activism, Singchronize is open to all majors!

Sports Media Society for Women

In a male-dominated industry, the Sports Media Society for Women champions diversity through mentorship and networking opportunities. Through SMSW, you can join a community reshaping the landscape of sports media.

 

Women’s volleyball club

Interested in joining a team? Now’s the time to strike … or spike! The Temple University women’s volleyball club provides an outlet for female athletes to compete in collegiate volleyball. Practicing twice a week, the team emphasizes teamwork, collaborating to compete in scrimmages, games and tournaments. 

If volleyball isn’t your preferred sport … Temple has plenty of other club sports teams for women. From ultimate frisbee to lacrosse, your favorite sport awaits you. 

 

Sports Girls Club

Or, are you passionate about all things sports? Join a network of national sister chapters with the Temple University chapter of the Sports Girls Club. Open to all majors, the club hosts industry speakers, fundraisers and sports outings in Philadelphia! Dive into the wide world of sports with the support of passionate women.

Women in Law and Public Policy Society

The Women in Law and Public Policy Society brings together any persons who identify as women or nonbinary interested in law, justice and public policy matters. Supporting your legal aspirations, the organization aims to create a network within the field, motivating productive change in law and policy. 

 

Ignite TU

Ignite is a national organization shaping the next generation of empowered civic and political leaders. Temple’s chapter offers networking opportunities, community engagement and education for women interested in political topics.

 

Feminist Alliance

Girls supporting girls! The Feminist Alliance is an organization that strives to further the values of intersectional feminism for individuals and the community. Fighting systemic issues, the Feminist Alliance provides education, action and social events to create a productive space for women.
