Christian Schafmeister, of the Chemistry Department at the College of Science and Technology, received a grant from the Department of Defense for the project, “Computer Aided Design of Nanoscale Molecular Switches as Sensors for Chemical Warfare Agents.” The award provides $15,000 for the period May 1, 2008 through Nov. 30, 2008.
