Jerry Ratcliffe, of the department of Criminal Justice, delivered a keynote speech on the merging of police and national security intelligence interests at a dinner for the New Zealand Institute of Intelligence Professionals. The dinner was attended by Warren Tucker, director of New Zealand's Intelligence Service, and Mark Lownthal, former assistant director of the CIA.
