Kamel Khalili, professor and chair of neuroscience and director of the Center for NeuroVirology, was presented with the 2010 Pioneer Award in Neurovirology by the International Society for NeuroVirology. He received the award at the joint 10th International Symposium on NeuroVirology and 2010 Conference on HIV in the Nervous System, held in Milan, Italy.
