Kendrick Whitney, associate professor of podiatric medicine and orthopedics at the School of Podiatric Medicine, was asked to participate as an author and editor for the new Home Edition of the Merck Manual for publication in 2008. He has also been asked to participate as an author–editor for the professional edition of the Merck Manual on Foot and Ankle Problems. Whitney is only the second podiatric physician to contribute to the Merck Manuals.
