Longin Jan Latecki, professor, Department of Computer and Information Sciences, was awarded a grant from the National Science Foundation for his work, “CDI-Type II: Collaborative Research: Perception of Scene Layout by Machines and Visually Impaired Users.” The grant is for the period lasting October 1, 2010 to September 30, 2014.
