Longin Latecki, of the Department of Computer and Information Science at the College of Science and Technology, received a grant from the National Science Foundation for the project “Collaborative Research: Simultaneous Contour Grouping and Medial Axis Estimation.” The award provides Latecki with an additional $12,000 of support; the award with this amendment totals $162,000 and expires Aug. 31, 2011.
