Mohammad Kiani, of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering, received a grant from the American Heart Association for the project “Engineering Neovasculature for Stem Cell therapy in MI.” The award provides $75,000 for the first year of support, with total funding estimated at $150,00 for the period Jan. 1, 2009 through Dec. 31, 2010.
