Professor of Pharmacy Practice Albert I. Wertheimer has recently published his 32nd book, “Pharmacy and the U.S. Health Care System.” Published by Pharmaceutical Press, the book was edited by Wertheimer, along with Michael Ira Smith and Jack E. Fincham.

Having worked in both industry and academia, Wertheimer is an internationally recognized expert in pharmacoeconomics. He joined the faculty of Temple’s School of Pharmacy in 2000 from Merck & Co., Inc.

In addition to his books, Wertheimer also has contributed more than 30 chapters to various books and has published more than 400 journal articles.
