Philadelphia Neighborhoods, a publication of the Department of Journalism, was named one of the best online publications in the country by the Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communications (AEJMC), the national organization of journalism and communications administrators and professors.

The award, which will be presented in August at the AEJMC convention in Chicago, was for a series on the George W. Nebinger Elementary School in South Philadelphia.
