Spiridoula Matsika, of the Department of Chemistry at the College of Science and Technology, received a grant from the U.S. Department of Energy for the project “Combining High Level AB Initio Calculations with Laser Control of Molecular Dynamics.” The award provides $40,000 for the first year of support, with total funding estimated at $200,000 from Aug. 15, 2008 through Feb. 14, 2011.
