Stephen Permut, chair of the Department of Family and Community Medicine, was elected to the Board of Trustees of the American Medical Association (AMA). Permut has been a member of AMA's House of Delegates for 18 years and has worked with the Delaware legislature for more than 20 years to improve medical laws and practices in the state.
