Temple librarian Rebecca Traub wins "I Love my Librarian Award"

Rebecca Traub of Temple University Harrisburg was named as one of 10 librarians recognized for service to their communities, schools and campuses as winners of the Carnegie Corporation of New York/New York Times I Love My Librarian Award. More than 1,700 library patrons nationwide had nominated a librarian.

Traub’s nominator wrote that Traub is “one of the most valuable resources” at Temple University Harrisburg where she introducse students to research methods, proofs student papers and has developed a writing seminar-turned-webinar so the campus’ busy graduate students can access it any time. As one faculty member said, “it is quite a testament when graduating students recognize Rebecca as one of the main reasons they were successful.”
