Yash Joshi, second year MD/PhD student, and Domenico Practico, associate professor in the departments of Pharmacology, Microbiology and Immunology, have been selected as a trainee-mentor pair to participate in the Medical Students' Sustained Training and Research Experience in Aging and Mental Health (M-STREAM) program. Supported by a National Institute of Health research education grant, the program is administered through the University of California, San Diego, and seeks to develop and increase the number of investigators in the geriatric mental health field.
