Call for faculty award nominations

Temple Acting President Richard Englert and Interim Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Hai-Lung Dai are now accepting nominations for annual faculty awards honoring the university’s finest teachers, researchers, creative artists and clinicians.

Below is a guide to the most prominent awards for faculty achievement: the Great Teachers Award, the Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching, the Provost’s Award for Innovative Teaching in General Education, the Eberman Faculty Research Award, the Temple University Faculty Research Award and the Faculty Award for Creative Achievement.

All of the awards will be presented at a faculty awards luncheon in April 2013.

Information on the Great Teacher, Lindback and Research and Creative Achievement awards — including guidelines and instructions for submitting nominations, as well as information about awards to support ongoing or future faculty research projects — is available on the Senior Vice Provost for Faculty Development and Faculty Affairs' web site. Information and application instructions for the Innovative Teaching in General Education Award are available at the General Education web site.
