Please join me in wishing Kenneth Blank, Senior Vice Provost for Research and Graduate Education, well as he departs Temple for Rowan University to lead its newly organized health schools. Ken joined Temple in May 2010 and previously held similar positions at Northeastern University and Drexel University. His new position at Rowan starts on December 1.

Michele Masucci will be appointed Interim Vice Provost for Research, overseeing research-related operations starting December 1. Vice Provost for Graduate Education Zeb Kendrick will continue to oversee the Graduate School. Both will report directly to the Interim Provost.

We greatly appreciate Ken's dedicated service and what he has accomplished during the past two and half years, and Temple remains committed to strengthening the research office and continuing on the path of growing research at the University.
