Temple to host viewing party today for the NCAA match-up against N.C. State
Dear members of the Temple University community:
I am delighted to invite you to show your Cherry and White pride in cheering on our men's basketball team as they compete in the 2013 NCAA Tournament.
On Friday, March 22, 2013 at 1:40 p.m., the Owls will battle eighth-seeded N.C. State in the NCAA Tournament. A viewing party for students, faculty and staff will be held in The Temple Performing Arts Center for the East Regional game being broadcast live from Dayton, Ohio. Food and refreshments, including items provided by several local eateries, will be available. Wear your cherry and white on Friday and celebrate as the Owls try to advance.
The doors will open at 1:15 p.m.
The team has worked hard all season and deserves your support. I hope you will come and cheer the Owls to victory! If Temple wins on Friday, another viewing party will be held Sunday afternoon (time TBD) in the Great Court of Mitten Hall, for a game almost certainly against the No. 1 seeded Indiana Hoosiers.
