As part of TU Ready, Temple's Emergency Preparedness initiative, the Main Campus emergency TU Siren will be tested on Thursday, Sept. 26, beginning at noon. TU Siren and TU Alert are critical components of Temple's TU Ready emergency notification system, and regular testing of the system is essential to ensure effectiveness. Thursday's test will include two 3-minute siren activations and initiation of the TU Alert system. The TU Alert will include a voice and text message to all registered cell phones and email notification to all Temple accounts. Members of the Temple community are advised to confirm and update their contact information in Self-Service Banner to ensure receipt of TU Alert emergency notifications.
