After 10 years of service, Rhonda L. Brown, associate vice president (AVP) for the Office of Institutional Diversity, Equity, Advocacy and Leadership (IDEAL), has left Temple University to pursue other professional interests. She came to Temple in 2005 as the inaugural AVP for multicultural affairs. Under her leadership, the office became a voice for increasing diversity and equality on campus. In 2009, its name was changed to IDEAL to more accurately reflect its responsibilities. We appreciate all that Rhonda has done during her tenure at Temple and wish her well.
Tiffenia Archie, IDEAL director of faculty recruitment and retention, has been appointed interim AVP. A national search for a permanent AVP will be conducted in 2015–16.
