Road closures, parking restrictions March 16–17
Several street parking restrictions and road closures will be in effect on campus Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17 in preparation for the annual Philly Phlyer intercollegiate bicycle race, a loop course comprised of 10th Street, 13th Street, Diamond Street and Montgomery Avenue.
From March 16–17, 10th and 13th streets between Diamond Street and Montgomery Avenue will be posted no parking zones, as well as Diamond Street and Montgomery Avenue between 10th and 13th streets. Any cars left parked on these streets after closures are posted will be towed to allow for street sweeping, course preparation and the safety of racers.
Between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, these roadways will also be closed to traffic. Vehicles will be able to access the interior of campus across the closed roadways at frequent intervals, but should be avoided if possible.
Specific concerns may be addressed to Associate Director of Grounds Glenn Eck at geck@temple.edu or Capt. Eileen Bradley of Campus Safety Services at eileen.bradley@temple.edu.
