A message from College of Science and Technology Dean Klein and Dean of Students Ives
It is with great sadness that we must inform you of the recent death of a CST student. Timothy Freeman, a promising transfer student enrolled in the college’s geology program, died Monday at his off-campus apartment building. Only 21, Timothy was from Macungie, Pa. and came to Temple in Spring 2019 as an engineering major, but quickly shifted to CST.
The loss of such a young life is devastating to family and friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with them and with all who knew Timothy here at the College of Science and Technology and Temple University.
In difficult times it is so important that we continue to support each other. Please reach out to friends, classmates, faculty or advisors. We also encourage anyone who may experience difficulty to seek Temple’s available support services. Tuttleman Counseling Services, located at 1700 N. Broad Street, offers a range of resources. More information, including hours of operation, is available at 215-204-7276 or at the Tuttleman website.
In lieu of flowers, Timothy's family asks that anyone who would like to honor his memory with a gift consider donating to Anthem of Hope.
Sincerely,
Michael L. Klein
