Dear Temple medical professionals,

National Doctors’ Day means so much more to all of us this year.

On behalf of the entire Temple community, I want to express our deep gratitude to you and your families for everything you do for us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your personal sacrifice, for your life-saving expertise and for your careers spent serving others in their greatest times of need. 

This Doctors’ Day comes at an unprecedented moment in our lives. This can be a scary time in many ways for all of us, and I know you are incredibly busy as this national health emergency unfolds. We are deeply indebted to you for the ways in which you are rising to the moment and leading when we need it most. You are our heroes and models to us all in achieving the vital mission of Temple Health and all of Temple University.

Please let me and the rest of the Temple leadership team know how we can be there for you now and in the days and weeks ahead. We are with you, we love you and we are so grateful.
