Arrest made following recent home invasions
Dear students,
Temple University Public Safety can share that this morning, the Philadelphia Police Department Central Detective District made an arrest of a 23-year-old male in connection to two of the home invasions that recently affected Temple University students. We are appreciative of the efforts and collaboration. These investigations are ongoing as detectives continue to follow all investigative leads and steps to identify others who are responsible participants. They hope to bring all these cases to a successful conclusion with arrests.
The men and women of Public Safety and the Philadelphia Police Department are committed to keeping our communities safe. We are extremely proud of the hard work and dedication of the police officers and detectives whose tireless efforts helped put this case together. We know these crimes can be very traumatic to the victims and the community, and hope that they can take some comfort knowing that an arrest has been made and that there is progress on the investigation.
For those who have been affected by these crimes, we encourage you to reach out to Tuttleman Counseling Services for support.
Best regards,
Jennifer D. Griffin
Vice President of Public Safety at Temple University
