Your input needed on Temple’s campus planning and development

Dear Temple community,

We are pleased to share with you information about the next phase of Temple University’s plan for campus development, Boundless Temple. It will provide a clear vision for Temple’s physical environment to ensure it supports growth across our academics, facilities and learning spaces, student life and graduate outcomes, and more.

You are critical to how the campus development plan takes shape and we will need your insight and feedback at several junctures. The first step is your participation in an interactive campus-based map survey that will allow you to share your experiences at Temple.

We have partnered with Sasaki Associates, a design and consultive planning firm, to assist with a phased approach to developing the campus plan. Together, we will identify Temple’s opportunities and challenges, form recommendations, and develop a plan that will help guide growth at the university.

As a starting point, Sasaki has developed the survey to allow participants to share how they navigate and experience Temple campuses. The map’s tools allow you to designate how you use spaces on campus and how you feel about them. You can also leave comments to include more details and suggestions. Your feedback is essential, and we encourage you to share as much information as possible to help inform the plan’s future recommendations.

You can now access and complete the survey. We ask that you provide your feedback by end of day Friday May 5, 2023. Please note that the survey does not save responses so it will need to be completed in one session. Participants who complete the survey will be entered into a raffle to win a gift basket with Temple swag from the bookstore.

We are grateful to the entire Temple community and thank you for sharing your experiences, ideas and recommendations. We will continue to share updates and more opportunities to get involved as the plan progresses.

Sincerely,
