Dear Members of the Temple Community, 

Temple University mourns the tragic loss of life caused by this weekend's horrific violence in Israel and the ongoing violence in Gaza. We extend comfort to members of the Temple community and all others who have been affected by these events. Please know we are here for you, and staff members are available to help anyone who is in need of support. We encourage you to contact Tuttleman Counseling Services and the Interfaith Inclusion Center. 

We also recognize that our students, faculty, staff and alumni have a diversity of connections to and perspectives on the conflict. We ask that we collectively carry forward with empathy and compassion. Today, as always, Temple reiterates its repudiation of violent acts that target civilian populations. 

Once again, our thoughts are with all who have been affected by these tragedies. It is our hope that we will see a peaceful resolution and an end to this conflict in the near future.
