Dear Temple community,

We continue to move forward in our search process for Temple University’s next president, and I am very pleased that we have made terrific progress over the last several weeks.

Since my last update, the search advisory committee has reviewed and evaluated a pool of highly qualified applicants. We have now advanced to the interview stage of the search. Our advisory committee, which includes trustees, deans, faculty, an administrator and the student government president, is meeting with a diverse slate of accomplished and enthusiastic candidates. Additional interviews are anticipated in early March.

I will continue to keep you updated with new developments as we move forward. I also want to remind you that we remain committed to maintaining confidentiality, both to protect our candidates and to ensure the best possible outcome for the Temple community.
