Get ready for another season of Temple Athletics
Dear colleagues,
We hope this message finds you in great spirits as we welcome students back to campus this week.
The beginning of August marked the official return of our student-athletes who participate in our fall sports as they wrapped up internships and summer classes. Student-athletes on our football, field hockey, men and women’s soccer, men and women’s cross country, and volleyball teams joined their coaches and support staff to continue preparing for their respective seasons.
We are writing to invite you to support our student-athletes at their home competitions this fall. Whether at Lincoln Financial Field, the Temple Sports Complex, McGonigle Hall, the Liacouras Center or the racecourse on the Ambler Campus, your attendance has a significant impact on the experience of our student-athletes. Tomorrow will be a very busy day for Temple Athletics, as our volleyball, men and women’s cross country, and field hockey programs kick off their seasons at home, while Temple football travels to Norman, Oklahoma, to take on the Oklahoma Sooners beginning at 7 p.m. EST on ESPN or owlsports.com/listen. The composite schedule of all athletics events can be found here.
Except for football games at Lincoln Financial Field and basketball games in the Liacouras Center, admission is complimentary to all Temple home regular season contests, providing great entertainment options for you, your family and friends. Discounted season tickets for faculty/staff for football start at $70, with men’s basketball offered at $170, and women’s basketball starting at $60. If you would like additional information, please complete the following interest form and a representative from our ticket sales team will reach out to you.
Lastly, if there are events (lectures, performances, etc.) being led by you or your college that you would like the Athletics Department to support, please contact us and we will share it with our student-athletes, coaches and staff. You can email athletics@temple.edu with additional information, and we will make sure it is shared across our department.
Thank you for your support. We look forward to seeing you around campus this fall.
GO OWLS!
Sincerely,
Arthur Johnson
