D’Angelo named AVP for Administration and Planning

In continued response to organizational changes in the Finance and Administration portfolio, Senior Vice President, CFO and Treasurer Anthony Wagner announced today the appointment of Kathryn D’Angelo to the position of assistant vice president for administration and planning. In her new role, D’Angelo will provide strategic support and advance special projects within the portfolio and oversee the university’s emergency preparedness efforts.

D’Angelo has nearly 15 years experience working in education, the last eight at Temple. In her most recent role as a director for the Office of the Provost, she was responsible for coordinating executive searches, facilitating policy review and creation and managing university-wide initiatives such as Commencement. Prior to that D’Angelo served as the associate dean of students where she oversaw Orientation and new student programs, judicial affairs, student media, Greek life, community service and student leadership.

D’Angelo is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in educational administration and holds a bachelor's degree in English and a master's degree in organizational development. She will assume her new responsibilities May 1.
