Temple students ventured out of their classrooms to experience the fast-paced environment of a television newsroom at 6ABC on Friday. Student journalists received basic training in daily reporting operations at a boot camp held at the station. "It's been an eye-opening experience," said Sydni Grant, senior broadcast, television and mass media major. She hurried as she spoke, typing a script with 20 minutes until deadline. "There's a difference when you're in class and you have two weeks to write a report to being here when you have two hours," Grant said. "But I'm haiving fun. This is what I want to do."
