In a new feature called "Parenting Perspectives," anchors Erin O'Hearn and Cecily Tynan share their thoughts on motherhood. O'Hearn and Tynan spoke with Andrea McCoy, associate professor of pediatrics at Temple's School of Medicine, about traveling with a toddler and keeping baby cool this summer. For traveling, McCoy says: "The key to an enjoyable flight is making sure your children are comfortable. Make sure you bring what your child will need on board food, drinks, medications." When it comes to managing the heat, McCoy warned that babies "cannot move themselves to get out of the heat, take off extra clothes or replenish fluids."
