Temple has launched an advertising campaign to sell itself to prospective students, trumpet its entrance into the Big East and inspire its alumni to help raise $100 million for scholarships. Tim Reeves, CEO of the Neiman Group, said that research his agency did for the campaign found that Temple “has a unique position in the marketplace and one that’s very much in demand,” namely that of an urban school with a racially diverse student body that encourages students to be themselves instead of trying to fit them into preconceived molds.
