American TUJ students arrive in Hong Kong
After days of concern since the earthquake and tsunami, about 30 American students attending Temple University, Japan Campus flew from Tokyo to Hong Kong on Sunday on a charter flight the school arranged through International SOS. International SOS was working with the students — who come from all over the United States — to arrange commercial flights from Hong Kong to their home destinations. Classes at the Tokyo campus are scheduled to resume March 28.Temple will help those who left Japan enroll in classes elsewhere so they can earn credits. "No matter where the students end up, in Japan or elsewhere," said Hillel Hoffmann, a university spokesman. "Temple will work with the students to finish their semester."
