"These are young guys with a lot of money and a lot of confidence — maybe even borderline arrogance. They're going to say what they feel," said Joe Mahan of Temple's Sport Industry Research Center. "The teams want them to hold the party line. That's what they're coached to do by the PR folks. But when they have at their fingertips an up-to-the-second, Twitter-type communication, that's just way too tempting."
